It has been a warm and steady day in the greenhouse this July 14th. Temperatures reached a peak of 27.07°C in the mid-afternoon, averaging a comfortable 23.68°C across the observation period. Humidity levels fluctuated between 43.9% and 57.6%, providing a consistent environment for our indoor herb garden as the day progressed.

Our soil sensors show that the herbs are staying well-hydrated. The basil remains at a maximum moisture level of 100%, while the oregano moisture levels saw a slight increase throughout the day, finishing at 95.8%. The chilli plant is also maintaining a healthy balance, holding steady at approximately 87.68% by the late afternoon.

Looking at today’s snapshot, the growth is clearly visible and encouraging. The basil in the foreground is exceptionally lush and bushy, with vibrant green leaves filling the left side of the container. In the center, the chilli plant is showing great progress; a distinct, healthy green pepper is hanging from the stem, which is currently supported by a thin wooden stake.

Light levels remained relatively low today, peaking at 134.2 lux, which reflects the ambient indoor conditions captured in the afternoon. The oregano tucked in the corner continues to fill out with small, dense leaves, contributing to the overall vigour of the hub. Everything is looking healthy and vibrant as we head into the evening.
