Afternoon Warmth and Steady Growth

It has been a productive and warm Friday here at Herb Hub 365. As the afternoon progressed, we saw temperatures in the greenhouse climb from a cool morning start of 22.48°C to a peak of 29.13°C. This rise in heat was accompanied by a significant shift in humidity, which began at a moist 61.9% and settled into a much drier 39.9% by the early evening.
Our soil sensors indicate that the plants are well-hydrated and handling the afternoon warmth with ease. The basil remains fully saturated at 100% moisture, while the oregano and chilli are holding steady at 95.47% and 87.52% respectively. These consistent levels suggest the root systems are efficiently managing their water intake even as the air around them dries out.
Looking at the latest snapshot, the greenery is looking exceptionally vibrant despite the low light levels recorded today, which averaged just under 9 lux. The basil in the lower-left foreground shows off its characteristic glossy, deep green leaves. Most notably, a healthy green chilli is clearly visible hanging from the branches, a great sign of the progress we are seeing this July.
Overall, the environment remains stable as we head into the evening. While the light was dim throughout the day, the plants appear turgid and vigorous, showing no signs of stress from the afternoon temperature spike. We will continue to monitor these conditions closely at herbhub365.com to ensure our herbs stay as healthy as they look today.
