Summer Heat and a Growing Harvest

It has been a bright, warm day at Herb Hub 365, with the indoor environment reflecting the peak of summer. Temperatures climbed steadily throughout the morning, reaching a midday high of 31.73°C. This heat was accompanied by a noticeable drop in humidity, which dipped from 56.6% down to 33.8% as the afternoon progressed.
The star of today’s update is the chilli plant. A healthy green chilli is now clearly visible, hanging prominently near the central support stake. While its larger leaves appear slightly paler than the surrounding herbs, the plant received a timely hydration boost today; soil moisture jumped from 83% in the early morning to nearly 100% by the afternoon.
To the left, the basil continues to thrive with impressive vigor. Its deep green, lush leaves show no signs of stress from the midday heat. Sensor data confirms this visual health, as the basil maintained a consistent 100% soil moisture level throughout the entire reporting period.
Tucked behind the chilli’s main stem, the oregano is holding its own. This hardy herb is currently the driest of the group, with moisture levels gradually receding from 53.3% to 45.22%. The bright light hitting the floor in the background highlights just how much sun the hub is catching, with intensity peaking at 8834.2 lux during the brightest part of the day.
