Today, July 4th, the greenhouse enjoyed a warm and steady atmosphere. Temperatures peaked at 26.38°C this afternoon with humidity averaging a comfortable 48.5%. Light levels fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a bright 425.8 lux before softening to a mellow 131.7 lux as evening approached.

Growth progress is clearly visible in our latest snapshot. The basil on the left is exceptionally vibrant, boasting dense, glossy green foliage. In the center, our chili plant is making great strides; a single, firm green chili is now prominently visible near its wooden support stake. While the basil remains a deep green, some of the chili leaves are showing a lighter, more yellowish-green hue under the current light.

Soil moisture levels remain high but are beginning to shift as the plants drink. The basil has maintained a constant 100% saturation throughout the day. Meanwhile, both the chili and oregano have seen a gradual decrease in moisture, ending the day at approximately 83.1% and 82.9% respectively.

With air pressure holding steady at 1019 hPa, the environment feels stable heading into the night. We will continue to monitor the slight drying trend in the chili and oregano pots to ensure they stay within their ideal ranges through the rest of the weekend.
