Afternoon Warmth at Herb Hub 365

It has been a steady and productive day in the greenhouse this July 3rd. As the morning transitioned into the early afternoon, we observed a consistent warming trend. Temperatures began at a comfortable 21.06°C at 6:00 AM and climbed to a daily high of 26.3°C by 1:00 PM. This rise in temperature was accompanied by a gradual decrease in humidity, which moved from a peak of 51.5% down to 38.5% by the end of our midday reporting period.
The light levels have been climbing as well, reaching a peak of 380 lux around 12:30 PM. While the average light for the day sat at approximately 194.77 lux, the plants enjoyed a clear increase in activity during the brightest hours. Atmospheric pressure has remained remarkably stable, hovering between 1023 and 1024 hPa, providing a calm and consistent environment for the herbs.
Our soil moisture readings indicate that the plants are well-hydrated as they navigate the afternoon heat. The Basil remains at a constant 100% moisture level, showing no signs of thirst. Meanwhile, the Chilli and Oregano have seen very slight, natural decreases as they take up water; the Chilli moved from 86.21% to 85.4%, and the Oregano settled at 93.78% after starting the morning at 95.26%.
Everything in the greenhouse is looking healthy and balanced. We will continue to monitor these conditions to ensure our herbs stay comfortable as the day progresses. For more updates, stay tuned to Herb Hub 365.
