It was a bright and steady morning at Herb Hub 365 on June 30th. As the sun climbed between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM UTC, we saw the light levels jump significantly from a dim 0.8 lux to a much brighter 196.7 lux. This increased light brought the ambient air temperature up from a cool 20.17°C to a pleasant 22.87°C, while the humidity gradually dipped from 52.2% to 44.5%.

Our herbs are responding well to the changing conditions. The basil remains perfectly saturated at 100% soil moisture, while the chilli and oregano are showing very slight decreases as they begin their day. The chilli moisture dropped slightly from 78.51% to 77.53%, and the oregano moved from 60.41% down to 58.55% by the final reading of the morning.

Individual plant temperatures followed the warming trend of the air. The oregano and basil both reached highs just over 20°C by mid-morning, while the chilli stayed slightly cooler, peaking at 19.44°C. Interestingly, the water temperature in the system rose more than the air, starting at 18.69°C and ending the session at 22.25°C.

With the barometric pressure holding perfectly steady at 1018 hPa throughout the morning, the environment remains stable and conducive to growth. We will continue to monitor these trends as the summer progresses. Visit us at herbhub365.com for more updates on our greenhouse progress.
