As the sun climbed higher today, the greenhouse transitioned from a quiet morning into a bright midday. Light levels rose from a dim 4.2 lux to a peak of 85.8 lux, while atmospheric pressure stabilized at 1012 hPa. These shifting conditions provided a steady, productive foundation for the afternoon’s growth.

The air temperature remained pleasant throughout the session, averaging 24.44°C. While the day began with 52.9% humidity, the air dried to a crisp 43% as the afternoon progressed. Our internal water systems tracked closely with the ambient environment, ending the period at a consistent 24.75°C to keep the roots comfortable.

Our herbs are responding beautifully to these stable conditions. The basil remains fully hydrated at 100% soil moisture, while the oregano holds steady at a healthy average of 86.75%. The chilli plant has been slightly more active, with moisture levels dipping from 100% to 93.94% by early afternoon as it drinks in the midday light.

Even as the ambient temperature reached its peak of 25.11°C, the plants themselves stayed perfectly cool. The basil, chilli, and oregano all hovered comfortably between 21°C and 23°C, maintaining a picture of balance in the greenhouse. We will continue to monitor these trends as we head into the evening.
