It has been a productive Sunday in the greenhouse as we track the shifting environment for our herbs. Today, we saw a notable transition in the air, starting with a humid morning at 52.9% that gradually dried out to a crisp 34.6% by the early evening. Temperatures remained comfortable for growth, peaking at 26.39°C before settling down to a cooler 23.15°C as the day wound down.

The light levels in the hub reached a maximum of 344.2 lux during the brightest part of the day, providing the plants with a steady dose of energy. As the sun began to set, the light dipped to 19.2 lux. We also observed a steady rise in barometric pressure, which climbed from 1008 hPa in the morning to 1014 hPa by our last reading.

Our basil continues to stay perfectly hydrated, maintaining a consistent 100% soil moisture level throughout the day. The chilli and oregano saw a bit more variation; the chilli moisture dipped to a low of 81.34% before ending the afternoon at 89.38%, while the oregano finished the day at 82.78%.

The plants themselves are staying slightly cooler than the ambient air, with the chilli and oregano hovering around 22°C. Our water supply averaged 24.47°C, ensuring that any irrigation remains at a gentle, stable temperature for the roots. It is a quiet, steady evening here at Herb Hub 365 as we prepare for the night ahead.
