It was a bright and productive day at Herb Hub 365 on June 26. Our sensors recorded light levels peaking at 383.3 lux, while the greenhouse maintained a steady average temperature of 22.95°C. This consistent energy provided the perfect environment for the herbs to thrive from the early morning through the late afternoon.

The air grew noticeably drier as the day progressed, with humidity dropping from a lush 57% to 31.6%. Although one environmental sensor recorded a brief, curious dip to -0.21°C around 17:00 UTC, the plants remained unaffected. Internal air temperatures reached comfortable highs of 27.8°C, ensuring the greenery stayed warm despite the momentary data flicker.

The herbs certainly felt the afternoon sun, with several varieties climbing into the 30°C range. The Oregano peaked at 30.88°C, followed closely by the Basil at 30.19°C. Even the water reservoir absorbed the day’s energy, hitting a maximum of 33.19°C, which demonstrates how effectively the greenhouse retains thermal warmth.

Soil moisture levels varied across the beds as the plants stayed active. While the Basil remained at a constant 100% saturation, the Chilli and Oregano began to dry out as they consumed resources. The Chilli dropped to 74.91%, while the Oregano ended the period at 56.76%. We are keeping a close eye on these levels to ensure every plant stays hydrated heading into the evening.
