Morning Light and Steady Soil Moisture

On the morning of June 22, the Herb Hub 365 greenhouse experienced a steady climb in natural light. Beginning at 305 lux around 6:00 AM, brightness peaked at 769.2 lux by mid-morning, averaging 489.77 lux over the observation window. This gradual increase provided a gentle start for the herbs as the sun rose.
Environmental sensors recorded a comfortable atmosphere with air temperatures averaging 22.86°C. While humidity began at a damp 51.7%, it gradually settled to a drier 40.2% by 9:00 AM. Throughout these changes, atmospheric pressure remained remarkably stable at a consistent 1025 hPa, ensuring a steady environment for growth.
Soil moisture remains excellent, keeping the herb collection well-hydrated. The basil maintained a maximum moisture level of 100%, while the chilli and oregano finished the morning at 81.07% and 83.71%, respectively. These readings indicate that the root zones are staying consistently moist during the early hours of the day.
Plant temperatures remained slightly cooler than the ambient air, with the oregano reaching 21.38°C and the chilli peaking at 20.94°C. The system’s water temperature also saw a slight rise, warming from 20.75°C to 22°C. This thermal stability, combined with consistent soil moisture, suggests the irrigation system is performing effectively.
