Morning Greenhouse Rhythms: June 16, 2026

The morning of June 16 brought a steady and productive start to Herb Hub 365. Atmospheric pressure held firm at 1009 hPa, while humidity levels made a gentle transition from a moist 51.4% at dawn to a crisp 46.4% by 9:00 AM. This stable environment provided a comfortable wake-up call for the greenhouse as the day began to unfold.
As the sun climbed, light levels surged from a dim 120 lux to a bright peak of 873.3 lux by mid-morning. This natural energy pushed ambient temperatures from a cool 21.05°C up to 24.25°C. Our reservoir water followed this warming trend, rising from 17.5°C to nearly 20°C, ensuring the nutrient delivery system stayed in sync with the rising day.
Soil moisture readings revealed distinct hydration needs across our herb varieties. The basil remained fully saturated at 100%, while the chilli plants held a healthy, consistent range near 81%. In contrast, the oregano saw a slight dip from 63.32% to 60.32%, likely responding to the increasing light and warmth by drawing more moisture from the soil.
Internal plant temperatures remained slightly cooler than the surrounding air but rose steadily, with the oregano reaching 21°C. The basil and chilli followed closely at approximately 20°C, signaling a healthy and active start to the morning growth cycle. These balanced rhythms suggest a thriving greenhouse as we move into the afternoon. Stay updated with our live data at herbhub365.com.
