It has been a steady and productive Wednesday at the greenhouse. Since our first readings this morning, the environment has remained well within the comfort zone for our herbs. The air temperature reached a pleasant peak of 25.59°C, while humidity stayed relatively moderate, averaging 40.68% throughout the day.

Light levels were at their most intense earlier this morning, hitting a maximum of 1831.7 lux before tapering off to 195 lux as the afternoon progressed. We also noted a consistent rise in barometric pressure, which climbed from 1006 hPa to a steady 1014 hPa by our latest check-in. These stable conditions have provided a calm, supportive atmosphere for the plants to thrive.

Our soil moisture sensors indicate that the herbs are staying hydrated, though we are seeing the expected afternoon dip as the plants move through their daily cycle. The Basil began the day at 46.03% moisture and has since settled at 42.88%. The Chilli remains the most hydrated at 49.31%, while the Oregano is currently the driest of the group at 33.66%.

Individual plant temperatures have tracked closely with the ambient air. The Basil reached a high of 23.94°C, while both the Chilli and Oregano peaked at 23.38°C. Even our water supply has stayed consistently cool, maintaining an average temperature of 21.27°C. Everything looks healthy as we head into the evening hours.
