Morning Light at Herb Hub 365
The greenhouse transitioned into a bright, warm morning this May 10th. Between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, light levels surged from a soft 149.2 lux to a peak of 696.7 lux. This increase was accompanied by a gentle rise in ambient temperature, which warmed from 20.28°C to a comfortable 22.67°C, while atmospheric pressure remained perfectly stable at 1018 hPa.
As the air warmed, humidity experienced a slight decline from 42.3% down to 37.2%. Despite the drying air, the environment remained calm and predictable. The herbs stayed slightly cooler than their surroundings; the basil reached a peak of 20.5°C, while the oregano and chilli both topped out at 20.13°C, suggesting the plants are regulating their internal temperatures effectively as the hub heats up.
Soil sensors indicate that our residents are processing water steadily. The oregano remains the most hydrated, averaging 53.46% moisture despite a small dip from its morning high of 54.29%. The basil and chilli followed similar trends, averaging 47.46% and 41.33% respectively. While the water reservoir sensors did not return volume data during this window, the current soil levels show the herbs are starting their day well-nourished.
