Greenhouse Update: April 26th Observations

Good morning, green thumbs! Here is a look at how our herbs settled in overnight and through the morning hours of April 26th. The greenhouse environment saw a gentle temperature rise, peaking around 21.61°C by the final reading, while light levels steadily climbed, signaling a beautiful start to the day’s natural cycle.
Humidity remained quite stable throughout the monitoring period, holding steady between 37.2% and 39.5%. The air pressure also remained consistent at 1022 hPa, providing steady atmospheric conditions for our plants to thrive.
Checking in on the individual herbs, temperatures were quite consistent across the board. Basil, Chilli, and Oregano all showed slight increases in their respective readings throughout the morning. Soil moisture levels showed minor fluctuations, with Chilli maintaining the lowest reading, dipping slightly to 70.76% by the end of the observation period.
Overall, the moisture levels for all three herbs showed a gradual downward trend, which is normal as the day progresses and transpiration occurs. These readings suggest a healthy, stable environment for our aromatic friends as they soak up the morning light. Keep an eye on those soil readings as we move forward! Happy growing from the Herb Hub team.
