Hello Herb Enthusiasts! Here is your mid-day snapshot from the Herb Hub 365 greenhouse. The afternoon brought noticeable shifts in the environment as the day progressed.

Temperatures peaked nicely this afternoon, reaching a high of 23.79°C, making for a warm day overall. We also observed a dip in relative humidity throughout the recording period, ending at a low of 33.3%. Light levels were dynamic, climbing to a peak of 987.5 lux by the end of our readings.

Examining the soil moisture, the basil showed a gentle decline, dropping from 50.07% in the morning to 47.62% by the afternoon. In contrast, the chilli and oregano maintained relatively stable moisture levels, holding steady around 61% and 56%, respectively.

Individual herb temperatures also climbed nicely. Basil peaked at 20.56°C, while both chilli and oregano reached their highest readings of 19.5°C. The water reservoir temperature followed a similar upward trend, finishing the period at 18.125°C.

Everything appears to be tracking within healthy parameters this afternoon. Keep an eye on those moisture readings as the day continues to balance the environment for optimal herb health!
