Steady Afternoon Growth at Herb Hub 365

It has been a productive Monday, August 31st, in the greenhouse. Our sensors recorded a comfortable average temperature of 23.7°C, peaking at 25.3°C during the warmest part of the day. Humidity levels remained consistent at approximately 52%, providing a gentle environment for the herbs to thrive as we moved through the afternoon.
Soil moisture readings are particularly steady today, with the basil, chilli, and oregano all maintaining 100% saturation. This consistent hydration is reflected in the lush, vibrant green foliage visible across all containers. While the water reservoir data was not recorded during this window, the plants clearly have sufficient moisture to remain turgid and healthy.
The latest snapshot shows the basil’s impressive vigour, with broad, bright leaves filling the left side of the frame. Tucked further back, the chilli plant is showing beautiful progress; a large, bright yellow pepper is now clearly visible, adding a splash of ripening color to the greenery. The oregano in the lower corner also appears dense and well-established.
Light levels fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a peak of 1024 lux in the morning before settling into a softer afternoon glow of approximately 307 lux. These conditions suit the current growth stage of our herb collection perfectly, as the plants look vibrant and full. We will continue to monitor these steady trends as we head into the evening.
