Timelapse image for August 29, 2026

It was a bright, steady start to the day on August 29th. Our sensors began logging just after 6:00 AM, capturing the greenhouse as it transitioned into the morning light. The atmosphere remained comfortable and consistent throughout the early hours, providing a solid foundation for the day’s growth.

Temperatures climbed gently from a low of 22.1°C to nearly 24°C by 9:00 AM. This gradual warming was paired with a significant increase in light levels, which peaked at 1,748 lux as the sun rose. Humidity stayed stable, averaging around 54% to keep the mid-summer air perfectly balanced for the herbs.

Hydration is the clear priority today, with soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano holding firm at 100%. Leaf temperatures hovered comfortably between 20°C and 22°C, showing the plants are transpiring effectively in the morning sun. The latest snapshot reveals remarkably lush foliage, featuring broad green basil leaves and pops of ripening orange chillies developing beautifully in the background.

Overall, it is a picture of health in the hub. With maximum soil moisture and rising light levels, the plants are in their prime. We will continue to monitor these steady conditions as we move through the weekend.
