It has been a bright and productive day at Herb Hub 365. Midday light peaked at a vibrant 4,700 lux, while air temperatures inside the greenhouse reached a warm 27°C. Humidity has remained comfortable for the plants, averaging around 56% throughout the afternoon.

The greenhouse is currently a sea of green and orange. Our basil is showing impressive vigor, with large leaves filling the frame, though the bright light highlights some slight yellowing on the older growth. Most striking are the chillies; several plump, orange peppers are clearly visible and look nearly ready for harvest.

While the chilli plant is currently in saturated soil at 100% moisture, we are keeping a close eye on the other herbs. The basil has dipped to 31% moisture, and the oregano sensors have dropped to 0%, suggesting the soil is extremely dry. We will be adjusting the irrigation for that corner of the hub soon to ensure the smaller greens stay as healthy as their neighbors.

Despite the dry spot in the oregano tray, the environment remains stable. Internal plant temperatures are hovering consistently between 21°C and 23°C, keeping pace with the steady afternoon warmth. We are enjoying the view of the ripening chillies and the general vitality of the hub as we head into the evening.
