It’s been a bright, warming day in the greenhouse. Temperatures climbed steadily from a cool 18.1°C this morning to a midday peak of 27.7°C. Light levels followed suit, reaching 2535 lux and providing the herbs with plenty of energy during the sunniest hours.

Although humidity dipped from 52.3% to 35.9% as the heat rose, our sensors show that the soil remains perfectly hydrated. The basil, chilli, and oregano are all holding steady at 100% moisture, ensuring they stay resilient against the afternoon warmth.

The growth in our latest snapshot is impressive. On the left, the basil shows off vibrant, lush green leaves, while the chilli plant on the right is making great progress. A small, firm green pepper is now clearly visible, supported by a wooden stake as it continues to develop.

Overall, the environment remains stable with an average atmospheric pressure of 1016.36 hPa. Even with the drier air, the foliage looks vigorous and shows no signs of wilting. We’ll continue to monitor these conditions as the evening approaches and the light begins to fade.
