It has been a bright, active Monday here at the greenhouse. As we move into the late afternoon of August 3rd, the environment has settled into a warm rhythm. Our sensors recorded a peak temperature of 31.62°C today, providing a significant burst of summer heat for the herbs to soak up.

The basil is looking exceptionally lush, with broad, vibrant green leaves reaching upward. Nearby, a small, firm green chilli is developing on the vine, currently supported by a simple wooden stake. Across the frame, the foliage appears healthy and resilient, thriving despite the day’s high temperatures.

Environmental conditions have shifted as the sun begins to dip. While humidity dropped from a morning high of 63% to approximately 35.2% this afternoon, soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano has remained perfectly steady at 100%. This consistency ensures the root systems stay fully hydrated even as the air warms and dries.

As we head toward the evening, light levels have naturally descended to 52.5 lux and atmospheric pressure has settled at 1007 hPa. Everything in the hub remains stable and vigorous, with the plants in excellent condition as they transition out of the hottest part of the day.
