It was a calm and productive morning at Herb Hub 365. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM UTC, the greenhouse environment remained stable and comfortable, with air temperatures climbing gently from 21.4°C to a peak of 22.7°C. Humidity held steady at a healthy 57%, providing a perfect start for the day.

The plants are responding beautifully to these conditions. Our basil is showing off vibrant, bright green leaves and reaching upward with great vigor. Most excitingly, the chili plant is now sporting a distinct, small green pepper hanging from its staked branches, while the surrounding foliage looks lush and deep green.

Light levels peaked early at 781 lux around 7:30 AM, giving the seedlings a healthy morning boost before settling toward 518 lux. Internal temperatures for the basil, chili, and oregano remained remarkably consistent, hovering between 20.5°C and 20.9°C—just slightly cooler than the ambient air.

Soil moisture readings for all three herbs are currently at 100%. This indicates the root zones are fully hydrated, ensuring the system maintains a moist environment during these summer days. With the root zones well-watered, the plants have everything they need to continue their steady, healthy progress.
