It has been a productive July 26 at the Hub, with the greenhouse experiencing a dynamic range of environmental shifts. Our sensors recorded a bright peak light level of 5039.2 lux earlier today, providing the herbs with a healthy dose of energy before the light softened to 465 lux by late afternoon. Temperatures reached a warm high of 29.06°C but have since settled to a comfortable 22.15°C.

Humidity followed the afternoon cooling trend, dipping from a morning high of 60.9% to 48.9%. Throughout these atmospheric changes, the soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano has remained remarkably consistent at 100%. This steady saturation ensures the plants are well-hydrated and prepared for the evening hours.

The basil is looking exceptionally vibrant in the latest snapshot, showing off lush, firm green leaves and a healthy, bushy habit. New growth appearing at the crown suggests the plant is making the most of the current moisture levels. Nearby, the chilli plant is showing exciting progress; a small, firm green chilli is now clearly visible among the leaves, with a wooden stake providing necessary support for the developing stem.

Both plants look healthy and well-tended, rounding out a successful day of growth in the greenhouse. It is rewarding to see such steady development across the Hub as the plants thrive in their controlled environment. For more real-time updates, visit us at herbhub365.com.
