A Warm July Afternoon at Herb Hub 365

July 25, 2026, has been a productive and sun-soaked day in the greenhouse. Temperatures climbed steadily from a morning low of 20.58°C to a midday peak of 27.8°C. This warmth was paired with light levels reaching 1011.7 lux, bathing our herbs in natural brightness and encouraging active growth.
As the heat intensified, humidity levels dipped from 53.4% to 34.3%. Despite the drier afternoon air, our irrigation system has kept the environment perfectly balanced. Soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano remains at a consistent 100%, ensuring the roots stay hydrated while the foliage enjoys the sun.
The chilli plant is showing exciting progress with a vibrant green pepper now clearly visible. Supported by a wooden stake, the plant remains upright and active even though its leaves appear slightly pale in the intense light. Beside it, the basil continues to thrive, with its broad, lush leaves filling the space beautifully.
Individual plant temperatures have remained steady, with the oregano reaching 23.69°C and the basil at 23.19°C. These readings show that the herbs are transpiring effectively, staying slightly cooler than the surrounding ambient air. It is a peaceful, high-energy day, and we look forward to seeing how these conditions translate into further growth by tomorrow.
