Morning Refresh at Herb Hub

The greenhouse enjoyed a calm start on July 18, 2026, as early morning light filtered through the glass. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM, temperatures remained pleasantly cool, rising gently from 17.8°C to 19.04°C. With humidity steady at 55% and atmospheric pressure holding firm at 1017 hPa, the environment provided a stable, refreshing beginning for the day’s growth.
Our basil is particularly striking today, displaying dense, vibrant green foliage that feels full of life. In the center, the chilli plant continues its steady progress; a single, well-formed green chilli is now clearly visible, hanging securely from its stem. Supported by a wooden stake to encourage upright growth, the plant looks vigorous, with broad, healthy leaves reaching out into the soft light.
Soil moisture levels told a dynamic story this morning. The oregano began at 56% but reached full saturation by 6:30 AM, maintaining that level for the rest of the observation period. Meanwhile, the basil started at 100% moisture and steadily drew down its water supply as it woke up, ending the morning at approximately 60% by 8:30 AM.
We did encounter some erratic readings from the chilli sensor, which briefly dipped to 0% before recovering to a healthy 71.8%. Despite this technical hiccup, the plant itself appears hydrated and strong in its physical checks. We will monitor the sensor closely throughout the coming week to ensure more consistent data as we continue our updates at Herb Hub 365.
