Afternoon Glow at Herb Hub 365

It has been a productive July 5th in the greenhouse. As the sun moved across the sky, light levels peaked at 2356.7 lux, bringing a warm energy to the garden. This brightness was accompanied by a steady climb in temperature, reaching a pleasant high of 25.22°C by the early afternoon.
The herbs are responding well to the warmth, though their water needs vary. Our basil remains fully saturated at 100% soil moisture, appearing incredibly lush and vibrant. Meanwhile, the oregano has been the thirstiest resident today; its moisture levels dipped from a morning high of 74.38% down to 66.08% as the afternoon progressed.
The chilli plant is a particular standout today. A healthy, firm green chilli is clearly visible hanging from a branch, supported by a central wooden stake. While its leaves are a lighter, lime-green shade compared to the deep tones of the neighboring basil, the plant shows great vigor and steady progress.
As the day warmed, humidity naturally tapered off from a morning high of 56.9% to a crisper 47.6%. With stable atmospheric pressure and plenty of natural light reaching the leaves, it has been a consistent and healthy Sunday for our indoor herb collection.
