It was a warm and productive Friday at Herb Hub 365. As the sun climbed, the greenhouse environment transitioned from a cool 21.44°C in the early morning to a peak of 29.49°C. Humidity levels mirrored this shift, starting at a damp 62.3% and settling to a drier 47.1% by late afternoon.

Light levels were dynamic today, reaching a bright maximum of 2287.5 lux. This steady intake of energy kept the herbs active throughout the morning before the light softened to 180 lux by the evening. Meanwhile, atmospheric pressure remained remarkably steady, hovering consistently between 1006 and 1007 hPa.

The plants stayed comfortable compared to the ambient air, with the basil, chilli, and oregano all peaking in the mid-26°C range. Interestingly, the water temperature saw a significant spike during the midday heat, reaching 34.75°C before cooling back down to a more stable 28.13°C by the final reading.

Soil moisture remains healthy across the board, though each herb followed its own path. While the basil stayed consistently saturated at 100%, the chilli fluctuated slightly before ending the day at a comfortable 92.19%. The oregano showed the most notable improvement, climbing from a morning low of 41.95% to a hydrated 76.79%, ensuring all our herbs are well-positioned for the night ahead.
