It was a bright, productive morning in the greenhouse as light levels climbed from a soft 205 lux to 648.3 lux between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM. This steady increase in sunshine brought a noticeable warmth to the air, with the ambient temperature rising from a comfortable 22.16°C to a peak of 24.79°C by the end of our observation.

The herbs are responding beautifully to these early summer conditions. Our basil remains perfectly hydrated, holding a consistent 100% soil moisture throughout the morning. Meanwhile, the chilli and oregano pots show a very gradual drying trend as they soak up the rays; chilli moisture dipped slightly to 78.09%, while the oregano moved from 43.5% down to 41.66%.

Humidity in the hub averaged a pleasant 58.65%, fluctuating between 53.1% and 61.7%. While the air grew slightly drier as the temperature peaked, the environment remained exceptionally stable with a constant atmospheric pressure of 1009 hPa. The water reservoir and individual plant temperatures also stayed consistent, hovering right around the 21°C to 22°C mark.

It is a peaceful start to the day here at Herb Hub 365. With the oregano soil moisture now sitting in the low 40s, we will keep a close eye on its hydration as the afternoon sun takes over. For now, every plant looks healthy, vibrant, and ready for the heat of the day.
