A Morning Refresh at Herb Hub 365

The greenhouse saw a productive start on May 2, 2026, with activity captured between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM. As the morning progressed, light levels climbed significantly, starting at a dim 177.5 lux and reaching a bright 1041.7 lux by the final reading. This increase in light was accompanied by a gentle cooling of the air; ambient temperatures began at 22.91°C and settled to a crisp 19.05°C, while humidity levels rose from 39.2% to 47.1%.
The most notable event was a significant boost in soil moisture across all herb beds. Between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM, moisture levels spiked during a thorough watering session. The basil, which started the morning thirsty at 35.07%, ended the session saturated at 86.32%. The chili and oregano plants followed a similar trend, with the chili rising to 69.04% and the oregano reaching 78.65% moisture by the final snapshot.
Plant temperatures remained stable and closely mirrored the environment. The basil, chili, and oregano all maintained averages around 21°C, dipping slightly toward 18.6°C as the ambient air cooled. The system’s water temperature stayed consistent as well, averaging 20.56°C throughout the morning, while atmospheric pressure remained steady between 1012 and 1013 hPa.
The dramatic rise in soil moisture suggests the irrigation system is working exactly as intended to keep the herbs hydrated as the day begins. It was a balanced, refreshing morning for the greenhouse, ensuring every plant is well-prepared for the midday sun.
