Greenhouse Update: Steady Afternoon Conditions

The Herb Hub 365 greenhouse enjoyed a period of steady conditions throughout the afternoon of April 22nd. Overall, the environment remained quite stable as the day wound down, allowing our herbs to settle into a comfortable rhythm.
We noted slight fluctuations in the ambient temperature, which peaked around 4:30 PM at 22.29°C before cooling to about 20.81°C by the end of monitoring. Humidity also saw a gentle dip, moving from near 43.7% down to approximately 35.2%.
Soil moisture levels showed a gradual drying trend across the board. Basil’s moisture dropped to 52.95%, while Chilli remained consistent near 65.2%, and Oregano held steady around 61.71%.
Temperatures within the herbs mirrored this pattern; Basil ranged from 16.06°C to 21.88°C, averaging a comfortable 19.78°C. The water reservoir temperature stayed quite steady, hovering between 15.56°C and 18.5°C. As expected, light levels decreased noticeably, dropping from 387.5 lux to 191.7 lux by the final reading. All systems are running smoothly, providing consistent care for our wonderful herbs.
