Herb Hub 365: Afternoon Update for March 31st

The afternoon sun warmed the greenhouse noticeably as we reviewed our morning snapshots. Ambient temperatures climbed steadily from twenty degrees Celsius at dawn, peaking near twenty-four by midday before settling slightly toward evening. The basil and chilli plants tracked these shifts closely, warming in step with the room while the water reservoir remained a steady cool anchor for the system.
Humidity levels began to drift downward as the day progressed, dropping from over forty-two percent early on to hovering around thirty-nine point four by our last check-in. This drying trend is typical for an afternoon session with limited ventilation but worth keeping in mind if we plan any watering later tonight or tomorrow morning when conditions might stabilize again.
Water levels in the reservoir remain stable, though soil moisture tells a different story depending on which plant you are looking at. The basil and oregano hold up well with healthy percentages hovering around sixty percent for the former and just above fifty for the latter. Meanwhile, our chilli is drinking more actively and has dipped into its low thirties range as it works through that soil profile again today.
