Morning Light and Warmth at Herb Hub 365

Good morning from the greenhouse on March 16, 2026. The sensors have been active this morning, capturing a nice shift in the environment as we move through the day. It’s always good to see the numbers climbing slightly higher with the sun coming out.
The air is warming up nicely, rising from about 19.8°C to over 20°C by mid-morning. We also noticed a significant boost in light levels, jumping from roughly 132 lux at first to around 363 lux later. It’s bright enough for the greenhouses to feel energized.
Inside the pots, our herbs are tracking this change closely. Basil and oregano temperatures are holding steady around 19°C, while chilli stays just a fraction cooler at roughly 18.7°C. They all look comfortable in these conditions.
The soil moisture tells a different story across the board. Basil remains very hydrated at nearly 90%, which is plenty for now. Chilli sits around 48% while oregano hovers near 64%, with no urgent need for water yet.
While direct reservoir readings aren’t available today, the soil levels suggest everything is drinking well enough without immediate concern. Keep an eye on the chilli and oregano as they might be closer to their thirst threshold than the basil is.
